Enjoy pure tranquillity at this cosy and welcoming yurt in a rural spot among the rolling Devonshire countryside. Boasting a large outdoor space and handy camping facilities, this low-key retreat welcomes a group of four friends or family members.
Step into this simple yet spacious yurt and find a bright and airy living and sleeping space. A wood burner provides the area with warmth, curl up on the sofa situated in front of it and get stuck into a good book. For sleeping arrangements, there is a king-size bed, and four single beds. Adjacent to the yurt is a shared camp kitchen with all the cooking facilities you will need and nearby is a communal barn with a dedicated fridge and a private shower room with a WC. There is also a compost toilet next to the yurt. Outside, the space is designed for socialising and spending quality time together with plenty of seating, a BBQ, a fire pit, and a large meadow. Private parking is provided for two cars.
Set among the undulating Blackdown Hills National Landscape, you will have much to explore right from the campsite. Head off along the walking routes which wind through the varied landscape. The pretty village of Kentisbeare (1.5 miles) has a lovely country pub and a village store so you can grab amenities. Hop in the car and head to the coast. Sidmouth (18 miles) is a charming seaside town with a pretty beach, and Seaton (22 miles) has a traditional promenade and calm waters.
