Take in the peaceful surroundings as you arrive, parking in the large, shared car park before wandering past the children's playground, café, bar and honesty shop on your way to the lodge. Outside, the private deck is furnished with outdoor seating and a hot tub, providing the perfect place to relax whatever the weather. On cooler days, retreat indoors and gather around the cosy wood-burning stove, which sits at the heart of the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The sleeping accommodation comprises two separate bedrooms – one king-size and one twin – along with a charming cabin bed in the living area, creating a cosy sleeping nook for two.
Pull on your walking boots or hop on your bike to explore rural Carmarthenshire, where riverside walks, nature trails and wildlife-rich landscapes await. Follow sections of the Teifi Valley Trail, an 83-mile route showcasing some of the area's most spectacular scenery, including Cenarth Falls (4 miles) on the River Teifi, where you may be lucky enough to spot salmon leaping upstream. Visit the town of Cardigan in 10 miles, admiring its unspoilt landscape and vibrant arts and crafts culture.
