Escape to this beautiful countryside spot with your other half and up to two dogs, and relish the indoor/outdoor living experience of this charming hand-crafted wooden hut on a small complex in North Devon. Sit back and relax, with your own private wood-fired hot tub and other on-site amenities, or strike out to explore the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast or interior countryside.
Step into the bright and airy interior of this characterful cabin and feel instantly relaxed in the open-plan sleeping/living area, decorated in light tones with a sleek minimalist feel. There’s a small table and chairs for indoor dining, the king-size bed, plus a small sofabed can be set up for children if requested at booking. Behind the living space, there’s a practical kitchenette and shower room. This deluxe cabin has its own wood-fired hot tub on the private deck – ideal for planning the day or stargazing and soothing the muscles at night. There’s also a picnic bench and a small BBQ for al fresco feasts.
Have fun on this complex, with its fishing lake, Wild Spa with its hydrotherapy hot tub and quirky BBQ hut – all shared or bookable. However, if you like walking, then the South West Coast Path is the obvious choice for seeing this dramatic coastline under your own steam. The site, itself is positioned between the coast and the pretty village of Hartland (1.5 miles) which offers some services and holiday mooching potential. Check out the pretty harbour village of Clovelly (6 miles); it’s privately owned so a fee is payable to enter. Westward Ho! (16 miles) is to the north, while Bude (17) miles is in a southerly direction along the coast, but both places are perennially popular seaside resorts offering the usual seaside fun plus great surfing.
