This quirky wood cabin sits on a complex in North Devon, providing the ideal place to stay for two, or a small family and up to two dogs, all keen to explore the Hartland coastline. So, you can make holiday memories all together using the fabulous on-site facilities like the Wild Spa and fishing lake or head out and about to discover Devon or even Cornwall.
This light-filled cabin is decorated in neutral tones, making a really wonderful space whatever the weather. If it’s warm, open the door for that indoor/outdoor feeling and to spill onto the private decking, but when it’s cool things stay snuggly with heating, good insulation and glazing. The main living area is open-plan with chairs, the king-size bed and bunks, as well as a dining area. Behind this main area sit the kitchenette and shower room. Outside, the cabin has its own decked patio, complete with a small BBQ and picnic bench. But, there’s also a shared BBQ hut on the complex you can use for more ambitious meals. The Wild Spa on the complex is a bookable space offering its hydrotherapy hot tub and chill-out zone.
Walking is a great pastime from here, with lots of footpaths and the South West Coast Path to take you along this coastline. The village of Hartland (1.5 miles) offers picturesque streets, shops and places to eat. Hartland Abbey dates from the 12th century, offering the beautiful house, gardens and beach. Just 6 miles away, Clovelly (6 miles) is a harbour village that’s privately owned; you pay a fee but then can explore to your heart’s content. Meanwhile Bude (17 miles) further south is great for sun, sea, sand and surfing.
