We arrived on a cold December evening, it was dark, firstly there was no-one to meet us or tell us where anything was, we found our pod and it was clean and tidy, but when we booked the listing clearly stated it came with a log burner, and towels.. guess what?? No log burner or towels.. we literally had to sleep in our clothes the first night, haRead morerdly the cozy romantic night the listing stated and what we were looking forward too, we had driven 400 miles so just wanted to get our heads down, but we were gutted.. next morning after a very cold night, we messaged asking why no log burner or towels, whoever was at the end of their text number blamed Holiday cottages for listing it wrong, what a comfort that was, they did offer us towels and a little fan heater.. but that didn't arrive till lunch time so no shower that morning as we had already gone out by then (we did wait 2 hrs).. we got back that evening and our heater and towels were waiting outside our pod, so glad it didn't rain Wales is known for it's lack of rain after all, so we head to the communal shower block... and blow me, no heating in there either, wonderful just what you need mid winter, I wonder who's fault that is?? The pod itself has no kettle so you have to venture outside if you want a coffee.. remember to take a torch as the lighting is non existent walking to the communal area, the pod did come with a retro video game, as we would all rather have one of those over a kettle?!?! The pod itself wasn't bad and the bed was comfy the TV is a reasonable size, but probably in the wrong place as it favours 1 side of the bed and if that person is sitting up to watch it, the other person doesn't really get a good view. The zip of the pod was really awkward and it does leave a gap either side, which didn't help with our Artic conditions, look in summer it could be pleasant but I would not recommend a winter visit, our pod was 500 for 3 nights, I personally would never use these again, you could get better and warmer for the price Hide
