Experience colour, comfort and quirky style with an escape to this beautifully restored railway carriage, complete with a hot tub. Created for solo adventurers or couples seeking something a little different, it’s brilliantly located for easy access to Saundersfoot, Tenby and Pembrokeshire's stunning coastline.
This unique holiday destination blends vintage character with modern comforts, in a carefully converted former Pullman carriage. There are five steps up to the front deck, and then you’ll enter through the door straight into the open-plan interior. Painted in vibrant, ice-cream shades, it features bright cushions, fun artworks and a wooden floor. After preparing meals in the compact kitchen (which boasts a hob, fridge and microwave), there’s a bistro table for dining and a cosy sofa where you can settle down with a film on the Smart TV. At one end, a door leads to a shower room with a WC, while at the other you’ll find a second, connected carriage which houses a pretty, king-size bedroom. The deck has lounge seating for leisurely mornings or evening drinks as you enjoy the views, while the bubbling hot tub provides the perfect place to unwind in the fresh air after days spent exploring. Guests can also use the site’s shared utility room with laundry facilities. Private parking for one car is available.
The carriage is set on a family-owned, five-acre glamping site which includes a variety of other unique getaways. Just 1.5 miles away, you’ll find a local pub and handy shops in Redberth, while a trip to Saundersfoot (5 miles) is a must for its spectacular beach and variety of water sports. In Tenby (also 5 miles) there are yet more beaches, as well as a delightful walled town to explore, with shops, galleries and places to eat and drink.
