The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features a fully equipped kitchen with all the latest mod-cons, including a coffee machine. French doors open onto a patio, perfect for summer stays. The lodge boasts two bedrooms, each with patio doors for easy outdoor access. The first bedroom offers a versatile zip-and-link twin bed that can be converted into a super-king-size, complete with a Smart TV and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features a king-size bed, Smart TV, and another en-suite bathroom. Outside, a large patio area with a hot tub and seating invites you to enjoy the stunning loch views, while a fire pit on the grass provides a cosy spot for evening gatherings. Ample private off-road parking and an electric car charging point add to the convenience.

Located just 1 mile from the charming seaside village of Auchencairn and 7.5 miles from Castle Douglas, a designated food town, this property is perfectly positioned for exploring local attractions. Discover the 200 miles of breathtaking coastline along the Solway Firth or venture 20 miles to the Galloway Forest Park for exceptional scenery and spectacular dark skies. For those seeking adventure, the Galloway Activity Centre on the banks of Loch Ken, 18 miles away, offers a variety of water sports and activities.

Fantastic lodge. Beautiful setting. Visited with our 2 children and dog. Kids were kept active and had a great time. Such a peaceful setting with Fantastic facilities. Lots to keep children occupied around lodge and in the local area. Outlook over Loch and hills changed every evening so a view u never get bored of.

A beautiful lodge - luxury high end furnishings, cosy, warm and with everything you could possibly need. Location is superb- right on the edge of the loch - perfect to appreciate the wonderful wildlife. Its relaxing and refreshing. Lovely walks on the doorstep.

Absolutely stunning place. The lodge is to a high standard very clean, comfortable has everything you need. Really quiet location with amazing scenery lots of wildlife and lovely walks on the doorstep. Absolutely amazing hosts friendly helpful and such wonderful people what a privilege to have met them. Really enjoyed our stay at Hazel Lodge. Beautiful location and superb view of the Loch- a joy to watch all the wildlife. Lodge was very well equipped and was very comfortable. We thoroughly recommend doing the farm tour, it was so interesting and the sheep dogs are just gorgeous plus Maisie, of course. Area was beautiful with walks along the coaRead morest and our favourite Gatehouse of Fleet definitely worth a visit. Would certainly recommend for a week or two. Hide
