Excellent property, excellent location, excellent holiday. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We even had the weather and were grateful to swap the intense heat in the south for the warm in the north!

Well equipped, clean lodge in a beautiful location. Nice walks from your door into the village and short drive to Castle Douglas where there is a choice of restaurants/cafes, shops and a supermarket. Looking forward to returning next year.

The lodge and location are just fabulous. The lodge has everything you need. It's so tranquil and relaxing especially the hottub. Watching the birds flying around the loch the dogs herding the sheep - it was just perfect. We used the firepit and did some star gazing with the kids and it was just amazing. Would definitely recommend.

What a fabulous location with high quality lodges and highly personable owners. We had an amazing April break, helped somewhat by amazing weather. Lots to do in the area with the luxury of a session in the hot tub to look forward too.
