On arrival, cross the raised decking then enter the French doors into the single-level accommodation, where you’ll have a light-filled open-plan living area providing plenty of space to unwind. You can settle into the comfortable seating and watch the Smart TV, rustle up meals in the well-equipped kitchen and share them at the dining. For sleeping and freshening up, you’ll have a welcoming double bedroom and a shower room with WC. Outside, the raised deck comes with outdoor furniture, a firepit, pond and private hot tub. You’ll also have 55 acres of grounds to explore, along with a shared games room containing a pool table and table tennis. If you’re an angler, you can make use of two deep, unfenced fishing ponds (rod licence and fishing pass required; licences are available from the Post Office and while passes can be added when booking online or purchased from reception on site). Off-road parking is provided for one car.
Nearby, head to Bridport (6 miles) to discover a wide choice of pubs, cafés and restaurants before continuing to the gorgeous beach at West Bay. Lyme Regis (8.5 miles) is another tempting coastal destination, with a historic harbour, fossil museum and aquarium. The Jurassic Coast has wonderful beaches and glorious views, while the Symondsbury Estate, Coney’s Castle and Forde Abbey and Gardens are all within 6 miles.
