A dining table sits alongside, while the practical kitchen makes it simple to prep, cook and serve. An integrated ceiling radio adds a pleasant soundtrack to unhurried meals. The sleeping layout suits different groups: a king-size bedroom comes with an en-suite shower room with WC for added privacy, and a twin bedroom sits close to the family bathroom. The main bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a WC, so you can choose between a quick freshen-up or a long soak. Extra flexibility comes from a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. Slide open the door to a gated, decked veranda furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. The private hot tub is sunken into the deck for easy step-in access, and BBQs are available to hire (subject to availability). Parking is beside the lodge for straightforward loading and unloading.

You’ll find plenty to do within easy reach. History lovers can head to Framlingham Castle (8.5 miles), while vintage fans will enjoy the steam trains at the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway (9.5 miles). For family-friendly days out, browse the attractions at Stonham Barns Shopping Village (11 miles) or meet the animals at Easton Farm Park (12 miles). Nature seekers can follow wildlife-rich trails at RSPB Minsmere (21 miles). For coastal adventures, the Suffolk coast, including Southwold, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh, is within 25 miles.
