We. Very much enjoyed our stay in Old Spot lodge. The beds were comfortable although the duvet was too thick for the hot weather we had. Luckily I had taken our own top sheets so no problem. Didnt use the hot tub much as it was too hot but it was a good size and clean. Would be great in cooler weather. Overall a great week.

The Old Spot was a lovely lodge, quiet & peaceful, but with the pub a minute away with a good menu. Lovely walk of approx 20mins through Kipling Tor woods to Westard Ho! Food was really tasty in cafes especially Ocean 51. Enjoyed food & drinks in the Village Pub too.... a great find!

We stayed at Old Spot, The Pig on the Hill, in Bideford, Devon. The accommodation was spot on with everything we needed for a good holiday. I have never felt more at home on holiday than here. It was a small site with only 5 lodges and so peaceful. The hot tub was HOT so we could use it straight away. The award winning pub on site was excellent witRead moreh an amazing range of good home cooked food and the staff were super friendly. Loads of places to visit in close proximity. 10/10. Hide

Lovely log cabin in a really good location. If you want to explore north Devon, or even run down into Cornwall this is a great base to work from, just off the A39. However, if you just want to relax on the deck and the hot tub it is quiet and secluded. Would happily stay again.
