Set within a quiet holiday park deep in the Norfolk countryside, this welcoming glamping pod is a wonderful base for solo travellers, couples or small families looking to explore the region. King’s Lynn is just 3 miles away, while the Norfolk Coast (14 miles) and the Fens provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures, from scenic walking routes and fishing spots to golf courses and horse riding. You’ll also be perfectly placed for memorable days out, whether that’s exploring the royal Sandringham Estate (8.5 miles) or enjoying days out by the sea.
On arrival, you’ll climb a couple of steps up to the entrance then enter a beautifully designed open-plan space where wood cladding and underfloor heating create a welcoming atmosphere. The compact kitchen has everything you need for preparing simple holiday meals, and there’s a dining table for sitting down to eat. After dinner, stretch out on the corner sofa, which converts into a bed if you need it, and settle in for a film on the TV before retiring to the comfortable double bed. Completing the interior is a modern en-suite shower room with a WC. Outside, although there’s no private garden, you’ll have 10 acres of shared parkland to enjoy, complete with picnic benches, an on-site shop and a children’s playground. Private parking is provided for one car.
If the seaside calls, head to the beautiful beaches at Heacham South (15.5 miles) and Brancaster (23.5 miles). At Norfolk Lavender (15 miles) you can discover 100 acres of lavender fields and an oil distillery, before exploring the on-site gift shops and eateries. Keen to see some local wildlife? Birdwatchers and nature lovers can spend rewarding days exploring WWT Welney, Watatunga and RSPB Snettisham, all within 22 miles.
