Discover the best of the Norfolk Coast and the Fens with a stay at this cosy glamping retreat. With space for one or two, it’s an excellent choice for solo visitors, couples or small families who love spending time outdoors. Excellent walking, fishing, golf and horse riding are all possible nearby and at the historic port and market town of King’s Lynn (3 miles) you can explore impressive architecture, maritime heritage, independent shops and fantastic eateries.
Step inside to a bright open-plan interior that’s been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space. It has lovely arched walls made from wood panelling and underfloor heating to keep you warm during your stay. The L-shaped sofa, which turns into an extra bed if needed, is the perfect place to unwind with your favourite TV programmes. You’ll have a small-but-perfectly-formed kitchen area along with a small dining table, for relaxed meals together. When day turns to night, settle onto the double bed for a restful night’s sleep. There’s also a stylish shower room with WC inside. While there’s no private garden, the retreat is set within 10 acres of mature parkland with picnic benches dotted throughout. You'll also have access to an on-site shop and a children’s playground, plus private parking for one car.
If you’re here for the wildlife you’ll be spoilt for choice, with WWT Welney, Watatunga and RSPB Snettisham all within 22 miles. Fancy a traditional day beside the sea, head to Heacham South Beach (15.5 miles) or Brancaster Beach (23.5 miles). History enthusiasts won’t miss a chance to wander around the magnificent Sandringham Estate (8.5 miles), the much-loved country retreat of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
