Discover the very best of Pembrokeshire’s countryside and coast from this charming shepherd’s hut in the peaceful hamlet of Nolton. It sleeps two guests, making it a wonderful choice for solo travellers or couples looking to switch off. Nearby, the pretty coastal village of Nolton Haven (1.5 miles) sits on the beautiful St Brides Bay, where sand, shingle, rock pools and dramatic cliffs create a beautiful setting for coastal walks, swimming and boating.
On arrival, you’ll climb a small set of external steps up to the wooden door of this beautifully designed dwelling. The inside is beautifully modern compared to its rustic farmhouse-style exterior. You’ll have a bright open-plan living space that combines a lounge, kitchenette, dining area and sleeping area, featuring a large picture window framing lovely countryside views. Relax in the comfortable armchairs after a day exploring, tuck into meals and drift off to sleep in the inviting double bed tucked away at the rear of the hut. There’s also a handy WC inside, while the private shower room is just around the back. The garden is made for unwinding, with a wood-fired hot tub, outdoor seating for al fresco dining and a BBQ fire pit where you can toast marshmallows beneath Pembrokeshire’s dark skies. Private parking for one car is available in the shared on-site car park.
Nolton Haven Beach forms part of a Marine Special Area of Conservation and connects to the iconic Pembrokeshire Coast Path, so you can follow with scenic routes leading to Little Haven Beach (3.5 miles). You may also enjoy a trip to St Davids (12.5 miles), the UK's smallest city, to browse its independent shops, dine in excellent pubs and restaurants, and soak up its quirky character.
