Making a fantastic getaway for couples and families, this charming bell tent is a fabulous glamping retreat for up to four guests discovering a stunning corner of Pembrokeshire. Situated along a secluded peninsula at the mouth of Milford Haven, the area has plenty for walkers, nature spotters, beach lovers and water sports fans to enjoy, with a sandy shingle beach just 50 metres away offering a great spot for surfing, sailing, water skiing and fishing. The site lies just outside the characterful coastal village of Dale, which has some lovely places to eat and drink, with historic landmarks including a 13th-century castle, the Dale Lime Kilns, and the West Blockhouse Fort situated along a headland to the south (2.5 miles). The beautiful Marloes Sands lies to the west (3 miles), offering stunning sea views and chances to spot puffins, razorbills and seals.
Three shallow wooden steps lead up onto the decked area which then leads you through into the cosy and spacious interior of the tent. Here you will be met by the airy and light-filled living and sleeping quarters, with a central double bed and a pair of comfortable single beds to one side – beds can be removed for lower occupancy by prior arrangement. The tent also has a sofa to unwind on after a great day out, and there’s plenty of storage space for kitchen equipment.
Outside, the steps lead down to a private picnic area with a bench, fire pit and additional wooden stool seating, offering an ideal spot for a BBQ. To one side, there’s the private shower block, with a shower, WC and an outside sink for washing up. The site has a useful range of shared facilities, including a kitchenette and a games barn where you can play table tennis, table football and pool. The main field also has a set of football goals, and private parking is available for one car.
