Offering charming accommodation for couples and families, this fantastic glamping bell tent makes a great base for walkers exploring the magical Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Nature lovers and water sports fans will also have much to discover along this idyllic peninsula close to the mouth of Milford Haven. The bell tent is part of a lovely site with three other tents, set in a beautiful spot along the outskirts of Dale, a friendly village with some great places to eat and drink, and historic landmarks including a 13th-century castle, the Dale Lime Kilns, and the West Blockhouse Fort which perches on a headland to the south (2.5 miles). Dale has a sand and shingle beach, making a fantastic spot for activities including surfing, sailing, water skiing and fishing. Marloes Sands is to the west (3 miles) with stunning sea views and chances to spot seals, puffins and razorbills.
Two shallow steps lead up onto the decked area and into this cosily, cavernous glamping tent, where you will be welcomed by the beautifully arranged living and sleeping area. At the heart of the tent, there’s an inviting double bed, with a pair of single beds to the side – these can be removed for lower occupancy if necessary. This light and cheerful hideaway also features a relaxing sofa and storage space for an array of kitchen equipment.
Heading back outside, the two shallow steps lead back down and across to a fire pit area with wooden stool seating, providing an ideal spot for a BBQ in the afternoon or for toasting marshmallows as night falls. The tent also has a picnic bench for dining alfresco, as well as a private shower block with a shower, WC and external sink for doing the washing up. On site, you will have access to a shared kitchenette and a shared games barn where you can play table tennis, pool and table football. The main field has a set of football goals, and there’s private parking available for one car.
