This welcoming lodge blends character and luxury, and is ideal for couples, friends or small families. Set beside tranquil woodland on a boutique site, it’s in a wonderful location for exploring Yorkshire moors, coast and superb attractions, and boasts a bubbling hot tub for relaxing in the evenings.
Designed for comfort and relaxation, the lodge is both spacious and stylish, with timber-clad walls and softly toned soft furnishings creating a tranquil atmosphere. A practical boot room provides space for muddy footwear before you step into the cosy lounge, where deep sofas, a pebble-effect electric fire and a Smart TV invite you to relax for the evening. The adjoining kitchen includes everything required for self-catering, complete with a dishwasher and a wine chiller, plus a breakfast bar for sipping a morning coffee. For lingering, sociable meals, dine together at the generous dining table. Upstairs are a king-size bedroom and a twin room, both with TVs; the twin also features a PlayStation 4. A family bathroom serves both rooms. You’ll want to spend sunny days and starlit nights on the private deck, which has outdoor seating, a charcoal BBQ and a fabulous hot tub. You’ll have parking for one car by the lodge, with further spaces available on site. Other shared facilities include secure bike storage, a children’s play area and a dog exercise field.
Set on a 60-acre estate between Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale (both are less than a mile away), the lodge is perfectly positioned for days of walking and cycling on the beautiful North York Moors. Take little ones to Flamingo Land, just 5.5 miles away, discover the grandeur of Castle Howard (14 miles), or even head to the coast, with Scarborough, Whitby and Filey all within 21 miles.
