Escape with family and friends to the shores of one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs for an unforgettable escape. Surrounded by pine forest and set close to Schiehallion, one of the region’s most recognisable Munros, the Loch Rannoch Highland Club spreads across 250 acres of hillside, with all lodges enjoying loch views. On-site leisure facilities elevate the sense of luxury, while the surrounding area offers endless opportunities for water sports, walking, cycling and wildlife watching. Keep an eye out for red squirrels, golden eagles, osprey, red deer and otters. Kinloch Rannoch (0.5 miles) is a thriving village once favoured by wealthy Victorians who were drawn to its natural beauty and clean air. Head west to Rannoch Station (16 miles) and take the train to Mallaig on the West Highland Line. Take the road east to Blair Atholl (18 miles), on the southern tip of the Cairngorms National Park.
Follow the external walkway and steps to reach the entrance of this welcoming property. Step into the upper floor and find space to kick off your walking shoes and hang your coats. Follow the corridor through to the social heart of the home: the open-plan living space, combining a well-appointed kitchen/diner with a restful lounge. Gather in the lounge after days of outdoor adventure; sink into the soft seating and flick through the channels on the Smart TV. The sofa here converts to a double bed to sleep two additional guests. Find everything needed in the kitchen/diner for cooking up your Scottish feasts. From the living space, large sliding doors open to a social conservatory, where you can gather for evening tipples while enjoying stunning loch and hillside views. At the end of each day away, head down to the lower floor and find three restful bedrooms. Each room features a double zip-and-link bed that converts to a twin on request, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for different groups. The master bedroom boasts its own en-suite shower room, while the remaining bedrooms are served by a family bathroom. Completing the interior is a private timber-clad sauna, offering the perfect remedy after days of walking and cycling.
Outside, guests are invited to explore the lodge park grounds, where plenty of breathtaking scenery awaits. The neighbouring bar and restaurant offer the perfect solution for days when you don’t fancy cooking. Parking is available in the on-site car park on a first-come, first-served basis.
