Hidden within a wildflower meadow in the Forest of Dean, this charming off-grid cabin is a rural retreat designed for two. With twin outdoor bathtubs surrounded by private grounds and ancient woodland, it's a wonderful choice for couples looking to switch off and immerse themselves in nature.

Crafted using reclaimed materials, the cabin has been thoughtfully designed to blend effortlessly with its surroundings. Inside, the rustic kitchen and dining area is full of character, with exposed beams, timber panelling and large picture windows framing views across the meadow. Equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay, it's a welcoming place for leisurely breakfasts and candlelit suppers. Just beyond is a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC. The cosy lounge and sleeping area overlooks the outside greenery, where comfortable sofas gather around a wood burner before giving way to a restful double bed for serene nights in the countryside. Life outdoors is at the heart of this distinctive retreat. Dine in the fresh air at the table and chairs beside the cabin or gather around the fire pit as daylight fades. Two outdoor baths invite long soaks beneath open skies, while the meadow creates a tranquil setting for watching wildlife and listening to birdsong. Direct access into the ancient woodland means memorable walks begin right from the doorstep. Private parking for two cars is available close to the entrance to the grounds.

Although the cabin is wonderfully secluded, the traditional village of Bream is less than a mile away along the gravel track, where you'll find a pub and local shops. Beyond, the Forest of Dean is criss-crossed with walking and cycling trails, from scenic sculpture routes to exhilarating mountain bike tracks. Nearby attractions include the fascinating underground world of Clearwell Caves (3 miles) and the enchanting woodland of Puzzlewood (4 miles), famous for its twisting pathways and appearances in film and television.
