Explore Norfolk’s coast and countryside then lay back in your private hot tub beneath the county’s famously big skies – this palatial pod is between seaside hot spot Cromer and market town Aylsham. Pet-friendly and perfect for a couple or small family, it features full electricity and heating indoors, while the garden area boasts a BBQ and fire pit.
Surrounded by nature, this enchanting escape combines all the fun of camping with the creature comforts of home. One of a small cluster of similar hideaways, it’s a cosy retreat at any time of year; park and carry your belongings straight into an open-plan living space where you can cook, unwind, watch TV and sleep soundly. In one corner, the double bed is conveniently close to your private WC – showers are in a shared ablutions block nearby – and If you’re holidaying as a family, the futon converts into a bed for children. The living space extends onto a deck and garden area to the front of the pod, where you can BBQ and dine alfresco. Linger as the countryside settles into darkness – bask in the hot tub then enjoy a night cap by the fire pit. An on-site play area allows children to make friends and let off steam too.
There’s a shop on-site, and Aylsham (6 miles) offers a wider range of retail options. Take a ride on the Bure Valley Railway from here to Wroxham (16 miles) – at the heart of the Norfolk Broads – or, just outside town, walk in Great Wood at Blickling Hall and find Norfolk’s very own pyramid. Also 6 miles from your doorstep, Cromer’s wide sandy beach, Victorian pier and town centre are bustling all-year; climb the church tower stairs for spectacular views.
