A charming and rustic elevated apartment situated on a former mill site in Wales. Welcoming two people and two dogs, this is a lovely, romantic retreat for a pleasant weekend away.
Wooded grounds and a babbling brook welcome you to this pleasant apartment. Alight the external stairs and step through the patio doors and into the bright and airy kitchen/diner. Set beneath a sloped, beamed ceiling, the kitchen has everything you need to rustle up hearty breakfasts, quick lunches, and fulfilling dinners, to be eaten at the dining table. Just beyond this is a welcoming lounge area with comfortable seating and a Smart TV for relaxing evenings in. When the day draws to a close, head through to the contemporary double bedroom, which benefits from an en-suite shower room. Sit outside on the balcony and listen to the water trickling by as you enjoy an evening tipple. Private parking for two cars is provided.
Located close to the Wales/England border, you will have plenty within easy reach to keep you busy during your trip. The lively, cultural town of Presteigne (2 miles) has plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink. Take a walk through the scenic Nash Wood which is next to the town. Further afield, for longer walks, join the Offa’s Dyke National Trail which is 5 miles away. The literary town, Hay-on-Wye (21 miles) is well worth a visit, particularly when the yearly Literature and Arts festival is on in the spring.
