The open-plan lodge has been thoughtfully designed and decorated to reflect the natural surroundings, with green tones and wooden finishes. The sliding doors open into the living space and flood the room with light. Sit back on the comfortable sofas and admire the views. The kitchen is well-equipped and a dining table is provided for all guests to sit together to enjoy reflecting on the day’s events. As evening rolls in, flick on the Smart TV and fire up the warming wood burner for a cosy film night. At the end of the day, head through to the bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep. Choose from two welcoming double bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom and a shared shower room is also provided. Both bedrooms have access to the outdoor area. Outside, a decked garden stretches along one side of the lodge where you can sit back and relax with a morning coffee or evening tipple. A large hot tub is also provided where you can soak away after a long day exploring. Private parking for two cars is provided.
Pop on your walking boots and head out from the doorstep to explore the nearby walking routes that wind through this beautiful area of Welsh countryside. The long-distance Severn Way passes by (200 metres) and for bikers, the lodge is on a National Cycle Route. Visit the historic, market town of Newtown (3 miles) which has many shops and restaurants to peruse and enjoy. Further afield, visit the magnificent Powis Castle and Gardens (13 miles).
