Stayed for a relaxing couple of days with a Puppy (well 4 years old puppy) - great relaxed environment - great vista - easy to get to different locations by car or train. The Steam trains going by provided interest (You can see them from the enclosed area). Not too hot inside even though it was 30+ degrees outside in the Sun.

Conveniently located right by Highley Station on the Severn Valley Railway. Good food at the pub just a few yards away from the property. Pleasant walks along the River Severn.

A lovely lodge in a great location, well presented and equipped. Overall the property was clean; bathroom and bedrooms were spotless, but unfortunately there are cleaning issues elsewhere. The sofa smells very strongly of dogs, needs a deep clean. The oven hasn't been cleaned for a long time, and pans in the cupboard were dirty. Maybe just providinRead moreg some washing up liquid would help, which, for a 4 star grading, isn't too much to expect. Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our stay at the lodge Hide

A very comfortable lodge in an excellent location overlooking the river and close to the heritage steam railway. The Ship offers good value food as does the Bulls Head at nearby Chelmarsh.

Lovely lodge, beautiful location, very warm, some equipment looking a little tired but the beds are spring mattresses and so uncomfortable we left four days early. I raised this with the owner but had no response so guess not interested.
