Choose between two king-size bedrooms, each boasting an en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath, separate shower, and WC. - What an absolutely beautiful location, blissfully peaceful and so much wildlife to focus on. - Our lodge was a decent size (Lodge 25) and had great quality bed linens and towels plus both en-suite bathrooms were the best part of the lodge - great water pressure in the walk-in showers and instant hot water. - The hot tub was fab too, big size Read moreand easy to get in/out of but we can't say that this was checked daily? - We had several issues when we got there. No WiFi working, the main TV in the lounge was flickering as if the aerial was not getting a full signal and no aerial cable to the bedroom TV so not working, we couldn't lock the front door correctly. We attempted to sort these issues by ourselves but we couldn't so reported these to staff on the very next day. Darren (staff member) came to help and was incredibly apologetic for the issues. He was courteous and polite and really did try to help us - he found that the WiFi router had been stolen from the cupboard and this was why there was no signal and he would source this and also bring back an aerial cable for the TV, which he did but the TV would still not work. He agreed to being a new TV back. After a few hours he returned with good and bad news - bad news was that they needed to source an engineer for the aerial so this would not fixed, the good news was that he asked if we would be willing to move the empty lodge next door which was fully working. We discussed this between us but as we had settled into the lodge this would mean packing/unpacking everything again plus moving foods from kitchen fridges and cupboards, everything! - it just didn't seem worth it and sounded exhausting as this was our holiday! As you can imagine when you are looking forward to your well deserved holiday, you expect everything to be as advertised when you get there - which for us was obviously not! Darren understood our reasoning and offered for the empty lodge to remain unlocked to watch TV if we needed too.However, we never needed to use this. Overall, this spoiled our break away and we would unfortunately not return. Such a shame. Hide
