Lovely cottage with space for 4 adults. Great location just by the lake with a restaurant/ bar very close. Owner was quick to respond to queries. Paddle boarding on the lake was a highlight! Some parts were spittle tired but we werent looking for perfection so great for us.

We had a fantastic week staying in this property. It is in a great position on the side of the lake with plenty to do both in the immediate vicinity and the wider area. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the ducks swim past and whilst water sports are on offer, they are never too busy or intrusive. Fabulous lodge with a beautiful view of the lake, great open plan living area, very well equipped kitchen. I would say the double beds are not suitable for sharing for 2 adult people as one person would have to climb over the over and they are raised up high so a bit odd to climb over onto a bit of a drop. We stayed here for a week in October. The place is quiet, with a beautiful lake view every morning. The house is exactly as shown in the photo's comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The hosts were kind and provided a blender on request. The kids loved their rooms, and the outdoor area must be lovely in spring and summer.

The house really needs money spending on, the decking is rotten and dangerous and the doors going outside was awful to open and close no outside lights out the back over looking the lake, most of the taps were lose. But on a good point the property was clean and beds and sofas were comfortable.

Lovely location, calming and peaceful with plenty of places to visit . Only issue we had were the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms mattresses a little uncomfortable and if your tall a little tight with leg room due to the end being against the wall, apart from this we had a lovely time.
