Inside, the glamping retreat has a studio-style layout and features gorgeous wooden floors, wood-panelled walls, and a collection of rustic furniture. Along one wall is a compact kitchenette for preparing picnics and light bites, and nestled in the corner is a cosy wood burner. Relax on the comfortable sofa after a day of exploring, or perch at the breakfast bar with a glass of wine as you plan the following day’s activities. At the far end of the hut is a sumptuous king-size bed and completing the accommodation is a separate shower room. Outside, a large, enclosed garden envelops the hut with outdoor furniture, a firepit, BBQ, and bubbling hot tub – the perfect spot to chill out and take in the rural views. Private parking is available for two cars.
The surrounding area is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, with numerous nature reserves dotted throughout the Fenlands. Nearby highlights include Holme Fen (7.5 miles) and Ramsey Heights (1 mile). The charming market town of Ramsey (4 miles) is full of independent shops, antique stores, and markets, making it the ideal place to pick up a souvenir from your trip. The town also boasts some fascinating architecture, including a 12th-century church and a 15th-century gatehouse.
