Switch off and relax in this stylish holiday pod, 8 miles from the historic city of Exeter. Welcoming two guests in studio-style accommodation, the adults-only retreat is perfect for couples seeking a stylish base from which to explore the beautiful East Devon countryside, with its scenic walking trails across open farmland, through ancient woodland, and along quiet, country lanes. You’ll also be ideally placed for exploring the South West Coast Path and the remote, rugged landscape of Dartmoor National Park.

The striking holiday pod sits within a peaceful, rural landscape, alongside three similar retreats. Inside, the accommodation features Scandi-inspired decor and design, with a neutral colour palette and natural textures, including beautiful wood-panelled walls. Large sliding doors flood the space with light and encourage indoor/outdoor living. The kitchenette has everything needed to prepare breakfasts and light meals, which you can share at the fold-out dining table or outside on the patio. At the far end of the room, cleverly concealed behind a curtain, is an inviting double bed with cosy linens. Rounding off the pod is a chic wet room. Immediately outside the retreat is your private patio area where you can sit with a sundowner at the end of a busy day. You are also welcome to explore the 20-acre estate, with its meadowlands, pond, and orchard. Private parking is provided for one car.

Exeter is a vibrant city with some excellent independent shops, along with heritage attractions, a magnificent cathedral, and a fantastic array of eateries dotted along its scenic quayside. Alternatively, spend the afternoon in the quaint town of Ottery St Mary (8 miles), pottering around the open-air markets or tucking into a cream tea in one of the cute cafes. For a day at the seaside, journey to Budleigh Salterton or Sidmouth on the Jurassic Coast (10 miles).

Highly recommend staying here! The place was small but perfectly designed to have everything we needed, it was extremely comfortable and high quality. A small kitchen with everything we needed to cook some light meals, a lovely wet room bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. The location was lovely too, very quiet and peaceful, and a lovely meadow tRead moreo explore, and a nice pub and amazing farm shop just a short walk away. There were other cottages on the same grounds, but they are all positioned so you get your own privacy. Hide
