A few wooden steps lead up into this colourful shepherd’s hut where you will be greeted by a delightful living space, tastefully furnished, decorated in bright, soothing shades. Here you will find comfortable seating, a rustic-style wood burner, a sweet breakfast bar and a usefully equipped kitchenette. At the other end of the hut, a pair of curtains conceals a sumptuous double bed offering a peaceful night’s rest. The hut also features a refreshing shower room. Back outside, deck chairs, a BBQ, fire pit and a hammock occupy the peaceful space between the cabin and the lake, providing a lovely spot for dining alfresco and taking in the peaceful scenery. Private off-road parking is available for one car.
The site lies just a mile from the beautiful Holt Country Park, a popular spot for relaxing strolls through glorious pine woodlands, with chances to spot some of the local deer. The town of Holt (2.5 miles) has a range of great places to eat and drink, and is home to the North Norfolk Railway, also known as the Poppy Line, which runs through to Sheringham on the coast (8.5 miles). Also nearby are the Felbrigg Estate, Baconsthorpe Castle and Blickling Hall, all within 12 miles.
