The property is part of a 60-acre working equestrian centre, providing a unique backdrop, with the added charm of horses grazing in nearby paddocks.

Step into the cosy interior and be greeted by an open-plan living space, combining rustic warmth with modern comforts. Relax in comfortable seating after a day exploring the local area, or prepare meals in the charming kitchen and enjoy them in the intimate dining space. The king-size bed provides a restful sanctuary, and the stylish shower room adds a touch of indulgence. Outside, the fully enclosed garden offers an al fresco dining area with a charcoal BBQ and bistro set, complete with a fire pit for evenings under the stars. Guests can also enjoy wandering to the nearby sauna or soaking in the wood-fired hot tub to round off a perfect day. There is ample off-road parking too.

This countryside location is also close to an array of activities. Visit South Queensferry (2 miles) and North Queensferry (5 miles) for cosy cafes, unique shops, and beaches. The vibrant city of Edinburgh is just 7 miles away, easily accessible by train or park-and-ride, offering endless attractions like Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Botanic Gardens, and iconic festivals.

A wonderful stay in the most cosy and luxurious shepherds hut. It had all you needed for a break away and not far into the city, Ubers were very efficient for us to get to the tram. The owner was lovely, would love to return sometime! Maybe when its abit warmer x

We had a wonderful week in the beautifully kitted out Tottie Hut and its lovely garden. Karen & Anna were very helpful and we had everything we needed, including some sunshine! We enjoyed the surroundings and it was lovely to see the horses on the equestrian centre too. We will definitely be vack, thankyou!

Lovely stay in the tottie hut! Very cosy. Great location. Scotts bar was a great breakfast recommendation! Everyone at the equestrian center was so lovely and it was amazing to meet the shetland ponies. Both the sauna and hot tub were good fun to use with the fire. All in all a lovely secluded little spot.

Wonderful little place to stay. Out of the way but lovely. If you want the hot tub make sure you let them know so you can use it. Queensferry is a must. A car is a must.

We stayed here as we were taking part in a race and wanted a relaxing break away from busy every day life. We got exactly that. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful and so welcoming. All small details have been thought about. The hosts were excellent and communication was really good. Loved the stay - the cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The communication between the on-site agents and ourselves was excellent. They were very responsive and helpful. We had an issue - due to Storm Eoywn - that damaged the property. Again everyone was helpful and attentive - cannot fault them in any way. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location, so much to do in that area. Hut is great for 2 & we also took our small dog. Garden lively and fully enclosed. Anna & Karen really helpful & welcoming.

A lovely shepherds hut in a great location for accessing South Queensferry, Edinburgh & further afield and close to major road networks. Great walks from the hut around Dundas Castle Estate which is beautiful. The hut is on a busy equestrian yard & we enjoyed watching the horses & riders & hearing the yard activities. Very secure garden for dogs whRead moreich is a huge bonus. There is another large holiday house adjacent which does overlook the Sheperds Hut. The hut is nicely presented & equipped well. Hide
