In the evening, come home to your patio and raise a glass to the 16th green.

Step through the wide sliding doors onto the enclosed deck - which overlooks the 16th green and has the Ingleborough Ridge as a backdrop – and you’ll find the perfect spot for a slow morning coffee or an evening sundowner. Two lovely bedrooms sit on either side of the living area, each configurable as a king-size or twin to suit your group. Both have en-suite (one with a bath). Head underground at White Scar Cave (3 miles), England's longest show cave, for a guided tour through its extraordinary stalactite chambers and rushing underground streams. Further afield, the Ribblehead Viaduct (14 miles) is one of the great sights of the Settle to Carlisle railway. You can walk along the Pennine Way beneath its 24 soaring arches and look up at the Three Peaks arranged around the valley above you.
