The property features two beautifully handcrafted shepherds' huts, lovingly made by the owner from local hillside timber. One hut hosts a soft double bed, a wood burner for toasty winter evenings, and picture windows that perfectly frame the stunning surroundings. The second hut comprises a fully fitted kitchen and a separate shower room, making this retreat as practical as it is inviting. Outside, relax in the private enclosed garden area surrounded by hawthorn trees and neighbouring livestock. Unwind with comfortable garden furniture or gather around the fire pit to toast marshmallows under a sky full of stars. Guests will also benefit from off-road parking.

There’s plenty to see and do nearby. Try trout or salmon fishing on the River Usk or head to Glasbury for canoeing along the Wye Valley. History buffs will love visiting Wales’ Industrial Heritage sites in Blaenavon, while foodies can indulge in the taste of local festivals, markets, and restaurants within the area. Both Brecon and Hay-on-Wye are close enough for a day trip, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of this Welsh haven.

• The bathroom and kitchen are both housed in the Chef & Shower Hut named ‘Blue’. There is a separate door into each end

• Enjoy a digital detox – this retreat has no power sockets or Wi-Fi; guests are welcome to use power sockets from an outbuilding at the owner's farm
• Hot water from the gas boiler, light from the solar panels, sheep's wool insulation keeping it warm all year
• Set within hundreds of acres of natural farmland, the huts are totally private and sit within their own fenced copse
• There is an outdoor table and bench as well as a lovely fire pit

• There is a walk to the huts from the car, so it is well worth trying to arrive during daylight hours to take in the miles of stunning countryside as you approach

• The small field that the huts are in is not enclosed for pets. If you are bringing a dog, please be mindful of other animals on-site during your stay
