This gorgeous glamping experience set in the beauty of the Somerset countryside is perfect for couples seeking a serene, romantic rural escape. The pod is in a private field, ensuring seclusion and is surrounded by majestic oak trees and barley fields. The site is a haven for wildlife, making it an ideal retreat for nature enthusiasts. The surrounding landscape is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, with peaceful routes through rolling fields or woodland on your doorstep. Explore the pretty market town of Chard (4 miles), offering local shops, cafes and pubs, plus historical sites and attractions. The charming seaside location of Lyme Regis, with its iconic beaches and great fossil-hunting spots, is only 17 miles away.

Enter via two steps into a comfortable, convenient layout, with wonderful underfloor heating throughout. For meal preparation, there is a fully equipped kitchen area with all the appliances you need. Unwind on the cosy corner sofa and relax while watching the TV or enjoy a drink at the solid oak bar with stools. You’ll sleep soundly in the double bed and enjoy the convenience of an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower and WC. Step outside to unwind in the hot tub and admire the magnificent views. The terrace area offers comfortable seating for drinks and a BBQ for al fresco dining. A wooden fence surrounds the pod, creating a private and peaceful retreat. Please note the hot tub is seasonal (available 1 April to 31 October). Private parking is located approximately 60 metres from the pod.

There are plenty of must-visit attractions in the surrounding area. Explore the delights of Ham Hill Country Park (12.5 miles) and the Blackdown Hills National Landscape (8 miles), including Castle Neroche (4.5 miles) with its forested hiking trails. Alternatively, Hestercombe House and Gardens is 14.5 miles away.

We had the best relaxing five days, the scenery was beautiful so quiet just the relaxing sound of nature, the pod was clean , comfortable had everything you needed , Kate the host was friendly, welcoming and was to hand if you needed anything , definitely recommend to family and friends and definitely return again .

We had such a lovely stay at this pod! The hot tub was a real highlightperfect for relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Its incredibly quiet and tranquil, exactly what we were looking for. Kate was very welcoming, meeting us on arrival and showing us around, which made us feel right at home. Well definitely be coming back!
