This charming glamping pod for two sits in a peaceful corner of Cornwall, surrounded by countryside and just over 1 mile from the north coast. The retreat forms part of a friendly complex and you’ll have access to onsite facilities such as a shared BBQ hut and a shell crafting studio. The vibrant coastal town of Bude is just 1.5 miles away with its collection of sandy beaches, clifftop paths, and traditional seaside shops and eateries.
The single-storey, wood-clad pod is decorated in calming, neutral tones and features an array of natural textures. The open-plan space has stunning curved walls and the pod has underfloor heating to keep you toasty in colder months. To the front of the room is a small kitchenette area for preparing picnics and light bites. To the rear of the pod is a sumptuous king-size bed to sink into after a day of outdoor adventure. There’s also a camp bed and giant beanbag to provide sleeping space for children (please bring additional bedding). Rounding off the accommodation is a private, external wet room adjacent to the pod. Outside on the patio, listen to the sounds of the birds in the surrounding trees as you fire up the BBQ and prepare a tasty outdoor feast. Beyond the pod, the shared grounds have a children’s play area, and you’ll have private parking for one car.
You’ll find plenty to see and do in Bude. Spend a relaxing afternoon on the town’s main beach, Summerleaze, which boasts a tidal pool and excellent surfing conditions. Alternatively, grab an ice cream and take a tranquil stroll along the towpath of the canal. Further afield, enjoy day trips to Cornish highlights such as Tintagel, Boscastle, and Port Isaac (all within 30 miles), or head across the border to explore the stunning scenery of the North Devon National Landscape.
