We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. We enjoyed touring the marvellous countryside around the property and chilling on the veranda in the evenings. We would like to return for a longer holiday in the future.

It's described as a 4 star lodge. I would describe it as a 3 star glam ping pod at best. Also the description doesn't include the large building site immediately adjacent, or the septic tank, also immediately adjacent.

We had a lovely stay here, very clean and the bed and sofa extremely comfortable. The welcome package was lovely. The parking was a little tight as there was work getting done opposite the gate so getting the swing on a bigger car was tight. We thought the grassed garden area was private to the cottage but was infact shared so apart from the weatheRead morer that was the only downfall as we only had the gravelled parking space to let our dog out to explore. But i would return, location was perfect. Hide

Really lovely little lodge, with spectacular views and in a fab setting. Had all we needed for a short break and handy for local places of interest. Very dog friendly. Peaceful and quiet.

Lovely comfy cosy warm place to stay. Not really secure if you have small dogs. Plenty to see and do in the area and if your lucky enough to be able to walk, no shortage of areas to explore. Plenty of lovely places to eat...little pubs...lovely villages. Loved it.

We didn't enjoy our stay. First, the bed sheets and bathroom were spotless however there was a yellow throw on the bed that was dirty. All the cushions on the other bed were also dirty. The blue cover was covered in dog hairs. Its dog friendly and we took our two pups but you have to leave your car on the gravel. This spoilt it for the dogs as theyRead more couldn't run around on their long leads. The curtains were filthy as were the glass doors. Rhe kitchen is very small. We left a day early. Hide
