This stylish shepherd’s hut is in the mid-Norfolk market town of Reepham. Sleeping two guests in studio-style accommodation, it’s the perfect romantic hideaway. Directly from the property, you can visit Reepham station’s museum or take a ride on one of the heritage steam trains, followed by a bite to eat in the onsite cafe. Reepham is full of listed buildings and fascinating architecture. It has a great range of shops and eateries, and hosts regular markets. Keen walkers can explore the tranquil Norfolk countryside that surrounds Reepham, including Sparham Pools Nature Reserve (3 miles) and Foxley Wood (4 miles). You’ll be within easy reach of the Marriott’s Way, which you can pick up in nearby Aylsham (8.5 miles). Enjoy day trips to the picturesque towns and villages of the Norfolk Broads, the sandy beaches at Cromer and Sheringham, or the vibrant city of Norwich (all within 20 miles).

The idyllic retreat is set on the campsite alongside the Whitwell and Reepham Station Museum. Enter the stylish shepherd’s hut, via a few steps, to discover a bright, open-plan holiday home with contemporary furniture and decor. Along the back wall is a comfortable sofa to snuggle up on as you read a book or plan the following day’s itinerary. On chilly nights, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy atmosphere. To the left is a kitchen area for preparing hearty breakfasts and light bites and to the right of the room is a sumptuous king-size bed to sink into after a day of exploring. Completing the accommodation is a refreshing shower room.

Outside, your private, south-facing garden boasts fabulous views across open countryside. Spend time out here, cooking up a storm on the BBQ in the ‘grill and chill’ area, sharing a picnic on the lawn, or sipping a sundowner at the end of a busy day. Private parking is available for one car.
