Pour a drink on the wraparound deck and watch Swanage Bay stretch out before you. This bright, contemporary lodge pairs sweeping sea views with access to on-site treats like a heated indoor pool, a gym and a cafe/bar, so there’s plenty for all ages. With three bedrooms and a welcoming open-plan living space, it’s a great fit for families or friends keen to balance coastal downtime with days out exploring. Sorry, no dogs.

External stone steps lead to the main entrance and deck that wraps around two sides of the lodge, while an alternative side entrance offers another way in if steps aren’t ideal. Inside, a handy lobby with a desk and storage includes a cupboard housing a washer/dryer. To the left, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is made for relaxing together: sink into comfortable sofas beside the flame-effect electric fire and Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, gather at the dining table, and enjoy the vaulted ceiling, natural light and far-reaching views. Off the inner hallway are three bedrooms: a twin, a king-size with TV, dressing area, double doors to the garden and an en-suite shower room with WC, plus a second cosy twin. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. Step from the lounge onto the deck to take in the sea towards the Isle of Wight and a glimpse of Corfe Castle, or head to the enclosed rear garden with a patio, lawn and outdoor furniture. Off-road parking is available for two cars, and the parking and access are on an incline. On site, you’ll find a shared heated indoor swimming pool and a gym for a small additional fee (paid directly to the site), a cafe/bar with seasonal opening hours, and activities during peak times. A travel cot and highchair are available.

You’ll have everyday essentials close by, with a pub and shop 800 metres away and a sandy beach within 1 mile. Lace up for coastal walks on the South West Coast Path, explore Ballard Down or wander Durlston Country Park, all within 2 miles. Classic days out sit within 14 miles, including Monkey World, The Tank Museum, RSPB Arne, Wareham, the unspoilt beaches of Studland and the deserted village of Tyneham. For a touch of heritage, take the steam train to the historic village of Corfe Castle to see the National Trust-managed ruins and charming streets.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week in this modern, clean and well equipped accommodation. The views from the lounge, dining areas are stunning. The accommodation is situated high up on a caravan park with a steep access road and with a very steep car park area and steps leading to the lodge. We would not recommend it as suitable for people witRead moreh mobility issues. The caravan park itself was clean and quiet. There is a reception, cafe and bar and a swimming pool available at a local cost. Hide

We had a wonderful week away in this beautiful lodge. It had everything we needed and more. It was so clean and incredibly spacious and luxurious. The views are just amazing and although its a steep walk up its one straight road. We cant wait to return again soon.

Great accommodation. Comfortable, stylish and well equipped. Great position. We enjoyed our stay, thank you for sharing your happy place! On entry we found washing still on the line, which we took in, a bin not emptied and the floor wasnt clean. The on-suite shower head was not working well, even though I bought some de-scaler. I think it needs a neRead morew shower head. Also the handle on the wine fridge needed fixing. Hide
