The rugged landscapes and rolling hills of Minions/Cheesewring moor create a paradise for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. National trust venue Lanhydrock (24miles) offers a good day out with plenty to see, whilst he North Cornish stunning coast is a short drive away; walkers will enjoy the stunning South West Coast Path, surfers will enjoy some of the best breaks in the country at Bude's sandy beaches, while legendary Tintagel, with its ancient myths and tales of King Arthur, is 21 miles away.
