Tucked away in East Devon’s peaceful countryside on a seven-acre meadow, a stone’s throw from Ottery St Mary, this lovingly designed safari tent promises a blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort.
Spacious and inviting, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner couldn’t get any cosier. Rustic wooden touches, a feature wood burner and plush soft furnishings add warmth and character in equal measure. The kitchen has been designed with budding chefs in mind, boasting everything you need for the ultimate glamping experience, whilst the cosy lounge space beckons weary walkers to rest before tomorrow’s adventure. Sharing the same serene ambience as the rest of this homely bolthole, the double bedroom and twin bedroom both promise a peaceful rest. Lose yourself in far-reaching views across rolling fields as you dine alfresco on the covered veranda. Before bedtime, light the campfire, fire up the BBQ or slip into the wood-fired hot tub. Adjacent to the glamping field is a centuries-old three-acre oak and bluebell woodland, which is private to the farm, where children can play; it's also perfect for dog walking. There is private parking for two cars.
Surrounded by a beautiful seven-acre meadow with only five glamping tents, there’s plenty of space to reconnect with nature within the grounds surrounding this glamping retreat. Boasting a meandering river and medieval architecture, the charming town of Ottery St Mary, 2 miles away, offers scenic walks along the River Otter, a heritage museum and a great selection of local pubs and cafes. Sitting along the beautiful Jurassic Coast, the coastal town of Sidmouth (7 miles) offers everything you’d expect to find at a Regency seaside resort, including a golden beach. Further afield, Dartmoor National Park, 18 miles away, is alive with wild moorland walks and incredible views across the county.
