Set on a family-run working farm in Kent yet just 1 mile from the local village, this elegant glamping pod has been beautifully designed to offer a romantic escape for a couple. Walking starts straight from the doorstep, so it couldn't be easier to spend time together. Return to stargazing with a sundowner and a rustic, homely design that lets you truly unwind with your loved one.

The single-storey hideaway has a bright, studio-style layout with contemporary decor and furniture. After long walks, relax in your own cosy haven, where wooden-clad walls add charm, and you can kick back on your sofa with a piping hot brew and think about your adventures. The farmhouse-style finish flows into the kitchenette, though you may prefer to leave the pans untouched and unwrap a takeaway to dine out on the deck with the view in front of you. Take advantage of your contemporary shower room before climbing into the sumptuous king-size bed, which is cleverly angled for both the Smart TV and the stunning scenic views.

Leave the car parked and explore a wealth of walking trails from the doorstep, ending up in Marden village, 1 mile away, and rewarding yourselves with an evening drink at the pub. Choose to take the car out for a spin, and you could be in Staplehurst or Maidstone (both within 9 miles), where you can enjoy an eclectic mix of shopping, dining, and sports clubs. If you’re into history, then you’re extremely well placed, with Scotney Castle, Leeds Castle and Bodiam Castle all within 16 miles. Marden village has a very handy train stop, too, that takes you into London for the day.

We had a wonderful weekend stay in the glamping pod! It was immaculately clean, surprisingly spacious, and kept us very warm and cozy. The site offered peaceful views while still having everything we needed. Great communication from the host too (Denise and Simon). We would love to come back!
