Nearby days out include Blair Drummond Safari Park (16 miles) and the world-famous golf course at Gleneagles (30 miles).
The unique holiday retreat sits in an elevated position, enjoying far-reaching views across the valley to the distant glens. A gravel path leads down the hillside to the open-plan dome, which you can access from the balcony. Inside, the rural hideaway is decorated in calming, neutral tones with a subtle Highland theme running throughout. To the rear of the dome is a sumptuous super-king-size bed and along one side is a kitchen area for rustling up delicious dinners using local ingredients. Completing the space is a cosy lounge area with a corner sofa, Smart TV, and wood burner. Outside, take in the stunning scenery on the enclosed, decked terrace where you’ll find outdoor furniture (including a covered dining area), a BBQ, and a fabulous undercover hot tub. Located next to the property is a shower room with a WC, and there’s also a composting WC on the decking. Private parking is available for two cars.
The surrounding landscape is a paradise for keen walkers, with routes to explore through the Campsie Fells, including to the summit of Meikle Bin (6 miles). You’ll also find some lovely waterside and woodland trails at nearby Carron Valley Reservoir (1 mile), or you can pick up the long-distance West Highland Way approximately 20 miles away. The vibrant city of Stirling is just 10 miles from the retreat and boasts a good range of independent shops, along with museums, galleries, and historic buildings.
