Treat your special someone to a break at this stylish waterside lodge sitting on the banks of Loch Ness - one of the most celebrated stretches of water in Scotland - just 2 miles from the village of Invermoriston. Exclusively for adults, it sleeps two people in one double bedroom and is perfect for couples who are searching for a chic Highland retreat to call home while they explore the ancient glens and castles of Inverness-shire together. Take to the loch on a paddleboard from the secluded pebble shore just below your lodge, or lace up your boots and set off along the Great Glen Way directly from the doorstep. Alternatively, head to the Caledonian Canal (3.5 miles) and take a cruise along one of Scotland's greatest engineering achievements. In the evening, come home to sink into your private hot tub and let the extraordinary loch views do the rest.

Pull up in your private parking spot and step inside this bright and cheerful lodge, where dual-aspect windows and French doors immediately frame those picture-perfect Loch Ness views. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is flooded with natural light, making it the ideal place to whip up your special someone’s favourite dishes to share at the dining table. Soak up superb loch views while you eat in the dining area, or head outside onto the raised wraparound decked area, where uninterrupted views make dining alfresco a genuinely special experience. Afterwards, treat yourself to a dip in the covered hot tub in the garden, or snuggle up in front of the Smart TV for movie night. A stylish double bedroom and a walk-in shower room complete the layout. In the morning, head down to the secluded pebble area on the shore and kick off your day with some paddleboarding.

Head to Drumnadrochit (14 miles) to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle, and while you’re there, learn all about the Loch Ness Monster at the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition. Further afield, hike the circular route around Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin at Glen Affric (22 miles) and you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views of Affric Ridge.

This holiday lodge was a real home from home. Comfortable and well equipped with everything needed. The hot tub was excellent. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing break by Loch Ness. Also a good base for exploring the surrounding area including many great walks.
