Three steps lead onto the cabin’s decked entrance. Inside, the bright open-plan layout blends rustic character with contemporary comforts. Expansive glass doors frame views across the trees, while the comfortable sofa, which converts into a small double bed, creates a welcoming spot for evening relaxation in front of the TV. The stylish galley kitchen is equipped for preparing meals throughout your stay, with a dining table nearby for breakfasts, dinners and holiday planning. Sleeping arrangements include a double bed and a versatile double sofa bed within the lounge area. A modern shower room, accessed from the main living area, completes the accommodation. The private deck creates a peaceful outdoor setting for dining in the fresh air and taking in the surrounding woodland views. Off-road parking for two cars is available close to the cabin.

The Lake District’s most-loved destinations are within easy reach, including Windermere (10 miles), where you can take a scenic cruise across England’s largest lake, and Ambleside (14 miles), home to independent cafes, outdoor shops and the fascinating Armitt Museum. Grasmere (18 miles) is also worth visiting, with Dove Cottage, once home to poet William Wordsworth, along with the village’s renowned gingerbread shops and cafes.

Too abysmally hot within temperatures over 22. Says dog friendly but any animal would overheat or get bored, especially as not able to walk on outside decking as it overheats.

The accommodation is very good just right for two people and a dog the views are lovely and location is fantastic
