This luxurious, rural retreat enjoys a quiet countryside setting on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. The glamping pod is nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland, making it the perfect base for couples who love getting out and about in nature. Popular nearby walking routes include Pendle Hill, Bolton Abbey, and Malham Cove (all within 20 miles). You’ll also be within easy reach of the vibrant market towns of Skipton and Clitheroe (within 11 miles), both of which have a great range of independent shops and eateries, as well as fascinating historic sites to explore and beautiful architecture to admire. In Skipton, you can board the heritage steam trains of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway to majestically jaunt through the Yorkshire countryside.
The contemporary pod is set within a small complex of similar holiday homes on an adults-only glamping site. Inside, wood-clad walls provide a sleek backdrop to stylish furniture, floral linens, and quirky accessories. The main living space has a studio-style layout with a well-appointed kitchen area for rustling up delicious dinners for two, which you can share at the breakfast bar or outside on the terrace. After dinner, get cosy on the sofa and catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Taking centre stage is a magnificent four-poster king-size bed with sumptuous linens for a good night’s sleep. A refreshing en-suite shower room completes the accommodation.
Outside, enjoy the far-reaching views from the decked terrace as you sip a sundowner or fire up the BBQ. There’s a large snuggle chair to curl up in, as well as a drinks table with pretty outdoor lighting, a refreshing plunge pool, and a luxurious sauna. You’ll also have access to a handy outdoor shower. The covered patio area features a fabulous hot tub to sink into after a day of adventure, along with additional seating. Guests are welcome to explore the on-site facilities, including a shared shed with a pizza oven and coffee machine, and a cosy cabin with a large, central fire pit. You can also collect fresh eggs from the hens and visit the resident alpacas. Ample off-street parking is available.
