Savour the great outdoors when you bubble in the hot tub and soak up the sunshine beside this comfortable bell tent. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom glamping retreat is on a leafy site near Eldroth, 5.5 miles from Settle, close to the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire. Bring your four-legged friend and head off on magical walks through the Forest of Bowland National Landscape.
Take four wooden steps up to cross the deck and approach the tent. Enter to find yourselves in the sumptuous surroundings of a lounge/bedroom, complete with rugs, cushions and soft seating. There is even a table light. Recline in one of the armchairs as you chat, read your books and make plans for the following day. Your covered outdoor kitchen is on the deck. Here you can make hot drinks, light meals and snacks. Enjoy these at the table as you survey your surroundings. When you are ready for a good night’s sleep, the inviting double bed awaits. Your shower room and WC are separate from the tent. Have breakfast and morning coffee out on the deck as the natural world is waking up around you. Fire up the hot tub and lounge in the hot, bubbly water as you sip a glass of chilled fizz. Gather round the firepit and gaze up at the starry skies on clear nights. There is a metal pergola for use during inclement weather. Guests can park beside the tent.
While away an afternoon or two in the market town of Settle, stocking up on Yorkshire produce, pausing in galleries and tea rooms, and appreciating the gorgeous stone architecture. From here, plunge into the magnificent Dales, with its plethora of footpaths to follow. Plan a day in Malham, 12.5 miles away, with its famous limestone cove and glacial tarn.
