There are some charming villages and quaint market towns nearby, including Bourne, Spalding and Stamford, all within 12 miles and offering a range of traditional pubs and friendly restaurants. Market Deeping (4.5 miles) is home to the Market Deeping Antiques and Craft Centre and Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve, with other local landmarks including Burghley House, the Gordon Boswell Romany Museum, and Grimsthorpe Castle Park and Gardens, all within 13 miles. Peterborough is to the south (14 miles), home of the historic Peterborough Cathedral as well as the Crown Lakes Country Park, Flag Fen Archaeology Park and Kings Dyke Nature Reserve.
Entering this single-level cabin, you will be welcomed by the cheery and relaxing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom which makes a fantastic space for unwinding in after a memorable day exploring the local towns and countryside. The bright and peaceful lounge area has a Smart TV and comfortable seating, perfect for cosy night in after a day’s fishing. There’s a handy kitchenette opposite, complete with a range of useful equipment. The charming living area also has a lovely double bed for a good night’s sleep, with the sofa converting into a second double bed. The accommodation also features an invigorating en-suite shower room.
Back outside, the pod has a delightful private garden area which leads down to the lake’s edge. This tranquil spot has a patio with outdoor furniture and a fire pit, perfect for dining alfresco. Afterwards, you can take a dip in the hot tub and enjoy the serene views over the lake, while anglers can fish from the cabin’s own fishing peg. Parking is available for one car next to the cabin.
