This might just be the most peaceful place I've ever stayed. Tucked away on an organic farm this a little slice of paradise that feels a million miles from everyday life (but is only around 1.5 hours from Birmingham!). Wood-fired bath, fire pit & BBQ, hammocks, games, incredible views and complete peace and quiet. Includes both beautiful Read moreglamping pods (sleeping up to 4 people in total - they're only available as one booking), plus a kitchen with a hob and all the essentials, running water, electricity for lights and phone charging, and compost loos that were far nicer than expected! This isn't luxury because of fancy gadgets... it's luxury because I could finally switch off. No constant notifications. No traffic. No stress. Just birdsong, fresh air and time to breathe. It feels like an oasis in a world that's forgotten how to slow down..... Definitely recommend. Hide

We had an amazing weekend at Fern wood. The setting is beautiful and the set up is perfect. The best place to unwind and get away from busy life. Loved the hammocks for lazing and reading in. The kids loved the games and doing the trail through the woods to the forest school. We were sad to leave!

Overall this a fabulous and peaceful place. Its just what we needed. I work in tech and long hours, so wanted to feel close to nature and away from the noise. The hideaway is amazing and the wider woodland is magical. Ill definitely return

A back to basics holiday with all the luxuries! You could rub sticks together to light your campfire and cook your dinner or just use the gas hob! You could wash in fresh spring water, or luxuriate in a hot bath! Fern Wood Hideaway was clean and comfortable and made for a magical holiday base. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Fern Wood Hideaway. It was a peaceful secluded spot in the woods and we enjoyed exploring the walks in the countryside. The Hobbit style pods were very cosy and the wood fired bath was a favourite feature. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
