What a beautiful location and so peaceful. The cottage was so clean, well organised and presented, we had everything we needed. Rosie and Tim were very welcoming hosts also ; we would highly recommend their property and would definitely revisit.

Our stay at The Old Orchard was absolutely wonderful. The entire property felt incredibly peaceful and relaxing and being off the beaten track was lovely and quiet, yet still perfectly situated for exploring the likes of Sherborne and Shaftesbury with loads of lovely villages to discover in between. A huge bonus for us was the private paddock whicRead moreh our dog, Cody, absolutely loved for running and chasing his ball in the safety of an enclosed field. Rosie and Tim were fantastic hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel really welcome. If you are looking for a tranquil place to unwind, we cannot recommend this hidden gem highly enough. We had a lovely stay at this peaceful little cottage. It was the perfect base for exploring the local area, with plenty to see and do within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed visiting the nearby attractions and taking in the beautiful Dorset countryside. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable and well-equipped for two people, making it a reRead morelaxing place to return to after a day out. The surrounding orchard added to the peaceful atmosphere, and it was wonderful to wake up to such a quiet setting. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also appreciated having a good village pub within walking distance, which was great for an evening meal. This is a gorgeous place to stay, with lovely hosts who ensure everything is perfect for you. So well laid out ,new and modern to a high quality. Perfect lounge area ,kitchen and bathroom. Bed was so comfy ,lovely bedding and pillows with sockets at either side ,so useful. The whole lodge is a high standard and spotlessly clean. We had a wonderfully cosy and comfortable stay at the lodge for four evenings. Tim and Rosie were exceptionally helpful and accommodating throughout our holiday, making us feel truly welcome.
