The glass tables on the patio had not been cleaned for some time, and there were quite a few weeds growing through the decking. also feather and cob webs on the decking fence strings. The access to the property was also a little concerning, as the route involved walking over several manhole covers and a step that did not feel particularly safe. The cottage was spotless and has everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and the area was so peaceful. Outside decking area was used a lot and we enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks outside. A little tidy up around the area and add some outside lighting / plants to make it feel a little more inviting

The Lodge was just as pictured. Lovely to have decking overlooking a natural pond, with ducks & moorhens coming & going & various other birds flitting about or heard in the vicinity. Thank goodness for the fans in the heatwave! Pot plants around the place gave a nice homely feel. Reassuring to have the owner nearby to help should any problems ariseRead more. Plenty to do within a few miles of the property & further afield by car & there is a station in the village. The local small supermarket was useful & there are nice pubs, some to eat at, within a few miles. Hide

Warm, bright, cosy, comfortable. Good size bedrooms with comfy beds. Little kitchen with everything you need. Wonderful views across the pond ( baby ducks too ) and the fields beyond, we saw deer and a hare. Excellent Wi-Fi and nice to have Netflix too. Very friendly and helpful owner. We would absolutely book again.

Very pleasant stay at Mulberry Farm Lodge. Really quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Easy to get to, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. If we are in the area, we'll definitely stay here again, if only to see how things went for the ducklings!

Well equipped lodge in peaceful location overlooking pond and wildlife. Good location with shops and a train station for exploring the locality without always having to drive. There's a Pub a short walk away, although I didn't go in. The underfloor heating was slow to work, so I'd recommend taking some jumpers if you're visiting in cooler weather.

We had a very good time at The Lodge. It might prove a little small for four people but it is ideal for two. A well-furnishes development with some nice touches.
