Very well equipped kitchen, nothing I could think of adding. Overall cleanliness was good, just a lack of attention to detail e.g. large cobweb behind single chair in lounge area.

We had a lovely 5 nights at The Orchard in mid July. The surroundings were exactly what we were looking for - secluded but not isolated, with scenic drives to all that the Lakes have to offer. We enjoyed our time in the cabin as much as we did out within surrounding areas - spending slow mornings, afternoons and evenings in its beautiful quiet settRead moreing. The views are outstanding. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and the patio area at the rear of the property was perfect for late afternoon and evening sun. The property was perfect for us with our dog all being on one level. The outside space is plentiful and exceeded expectations from the listing. Grest value for money. Thank you for a lovely stay Hide

Lovely location on the edge of Lake District. Really great value for the price and amenities. Perfect place to switch off from the world, make some comfort food and enjoy the peace, the views and the night sky.

Beautiful location and lovely cottage! Perfect for those looking for a quiet get away. You do have to drive to go anywhere which we didn't mind at all because the upside to that is quietness of the place, and the fact you really feel its just the two of you surrounded by nature.

Absolutely breathtaking panoramic views, the sun rises to the right of the cottage patio above the hills and sets to the left behind the field. Could not get energy enough. The cottage was well stocked with anything you could need and has the facilities for you to cook meals, which was really convenient. Everything is pretty much a drive away but tRead morehe grounds around were stunning, I do wish there was a guide on where you can go walking tho, as we had the dog so were apprehensive. Hide
