This property was immaculately furnished and clean to a high standard. It was exactly how the pictures show but in reality is even better. Very spacious with lots of great storage. Perfect for 4 Adults sharing or a family with two children. The property had everything you could think of to self cater and even had a dishwasher and washing machine! SRead moreitting out on the spacious decking area was lovely. Listening to the birds tweeting was nice. Weather was kind as no rain during the day and sun trying desperately to get out so managed to sit out on occasions during in the week. Nice watching autumn leaves falling too. Due to the time of year we didn't get the sun directly but that may be better in the summer months. Overall it was a really lovely staycation. Thank you. One point though is that we were given the wrong postcode *** !BA in our directions when it should have been ***1BH - this added an extra 10 miles to the journey having to circle back. The lady on reception did seem to think this was rather humorous but we didn't with 2 90+ year olds with us wanting to reach the property as soon as possible. Arrived eventually and all ok. However on reflection yes I would recommend Holiday Cottages and would definitely recommend this property Sherwood 34, Fantastic! Hide

A well appointed lodge in a good location for sightseeing. Daryl, the owner, very helpful sorting out a problem. Biggest downside is the proximity to the M6, which is very noisy when trying to sleep, especially from the second bedroom.

Our stay in the lodge was very good, very clean and all equipment you needed, the park was clean, tidy and well maintained. We ate at the restaurant, the food was excellent but expensive for families. The location was close enough for plenty of day trips and local shops. The outside was okay, but needs some TLC, which has been highlighted to the oRead morewner. Hide
